{I Made it through}

In light of the amazing amount of water we have had lately and the flooding still around Maitland, I was able to make it to Dungog on Friday!! I met 2 lovely Families... here is a sneak peak!!

As you know my passion of photography often carries through with my love of natural lighting.. but i have given studio work a go today.. and I think it looks nice.. so these beautiful sisters were my first kids in my new white studio!! They have the most lovely big blue eyes.. thank you.. Lee x

Emilie and I are at it again!! Sunday was the Darby St Fair, we advertised for the first time about our joint venture.. and got our first booking!! So exciting.. and so beautiful!

Brad & Kate were married a couple of weeks ago, it was in Newcastle. We went into town to find some cool spots to bring out her dress...I just love Kates dress, very funky. We had such a nice day, and again Sun!! I have also known Brads extended family for a long time and 2 close friends were guests.. I had a really nice time..Here are a couple of prints...

{On the farm}

Its been a while since my last post. Its time to catch up!! These gorgeous boys belong to a good friend of mine.. they live on a cool farm just outside of Newcastle.. unfortunately it is due to be developed soon :( SO, we had a lovely morning on the farm Sunday.. climbing through the paddocks with the cows and cow poo and lots of mud.. the last time I took photos on the farm i ended up on my bum in a cow poo.. no such luck this time!!

{Beautiful Lou}

Well it has been 1 week since we received news about Lou. What a crazy week, mainly a blur, and still a small part of me that doesn't really believe what as happened.

Today there was a beautiful tree planting ceremony, tomorrow, with the Rising of the Full Moon will be a memorial celebration at a sacred place for Lou, with all of her friends in Newcastle. To follow on Thursday, a Funeral with her Family in Sydney.

I have been surrounded by Lou all week, in amazing beautiful photos of her, ones I've found and others people have given to me. I know many people have loved seeing her here, and i really am so glad they have been able to. I would like to share another photo of Beautiful Lou with you..

{beautiful Lou}

Today i am posting thinking of my beautiful sister.. and her best friend Lou, she was in a car accident yesterday, Ames I am so sorry for your loss and sadness. I'm not sure what to write.. but i really wanted to include some photos of Lou, one of the most beautiful, joyful, amazing souls we have ever known..she was such a huge part of the Newcastle & further communities, and will be missed beyond belief.
To Family and friends around the world, words cannot express how sorry i am for your loss of this very special person.

Today a truly beautiful soul left the earth she cared so much about,
to join the birds soar freely through the trees and
to join the dolphins swim freely through the oceans of the world.

Her name was Louise, and her laugh would bring joy and
her eyes would bring light to any room she walked.

Today we will miss you Lou..
forever we will remember you
and the impact you had on all of our lives
and always love you.

So we had a huge weekend.. and i am going to post more of the wedding from Kristin, but i had to include these.. yesterday i was lucky enough to shoot 2 beautiful little gals.. both with the most beautiful eyes!! I had alot of fun.
Miss 'R' in the first one is almost consuming her lovely pink beads!! I think it is so funny..

Saturday was a beautiful Day.. we were so lucky. Out on the coast just south of Sydney, Kristin (KMU Photography ) and I had great fun, doing our first official wedding together. It was an absolute Hoot!! Driving golf carts and eating wagon wheels. We had a great time, the whole family made us feel really welcome. So here is a sneak peak...
